Transition Support Program

The Kindergarten Transition Support Program is offered to graduates of First Connections who are transitioning into elementary schools in September. The goal of the program is to ensure continuity of support for our students during the important milestone of kindergarten transition.

Our Transition Support Team has formed a strong relationship with the Surrey School District, and has also worked collaboratively with several other local school districts and private schools. We are happy to discuss transition planning on a case-by-case basis to ensure a smooth start to school.

No, the Transition Support Program is only for graduating students of First Connections (formerly Kindergarten Readiness Program).

This allows us to really get to know your child and the supports that help them learn the best, so that we may be able to make meaningful recommendations and create a supportive transition for them at school.
